    Students should know:

  • Windows on, icons, system tray, shut down, restart, sleep and task bar.
  • How to use applications.

    1. How do you open an application, and then minimize, maximize, restore, close and resize the window, and multi-task?

    • Open a text document in OpenOffice.
    • Then minimize this window.
    • Watch where the window goes when it is minimized.
    • Next, open and play any Asha Kanini Diksha rhyme.
    • Then minimize this window as well.
    • Now maximize the text document that you minimized, and restore it.
    • Tell your teacher which files are currently open in the task bar.
    • Finally, close all the files.
    • How can you view the windows without using the maximize and minimize options?
